We make good food. Our raw materials are excellent; freshly baked and interesting breads, free range eggs, real not processed meats, home made sauces,
Scottish Salmon which we poach ourselves, and of course the freshest salads and fruits delivered daily.
SAFETY
DELIVERY CONFIDENCE
Confidence in the delivery is we know of most importance to you. ''Will it arrive on time?'' ''Did they get my order?'' Will it arrive at all??'' We confirm receipt of all orders by email so that you know we have received it. To minimise the possibility of our ever losing an order, all the orders are logged on ''Elvis'' our computerised operating system which produces the kitchen orders, invoice, delivery schedules, labels etc. Your order off the web will load straight into Elvis.
COMMUNICATION
All that planning cannot however remove the uncertainty of the traffic around London. If our driver is ''jammed'' the least we can do is make sure you know about it as quickly as possible. Our delivery drivers all carry mobile phones and will ring you if they have a problem.
LATE ORDERS
We do accept orders in the morning for delivery that lunch time. However, please ring us before placing the order to ensure we can deliver it at the time you require.
Our Service
Catering is often sold on a per-person basis, meaning that there is a flat price for each additional person. However, things like lighting and fire permits are not scaled with the guest count, so per-person pricing is not always appropriate. It is necessary to keep the cost of the food and supplies below a price margin in order to make a profit on the catering.
Our Staff
As many others in the food service industry, caterers and their staff work long hours. It is not uncommon for them to work on holidays or 7 days a week during holiday event seasons.
A comprehensive, formal full-service catering proposal is likely to include the following elements.
Time-line matters: rental arrival time, staff arrival time, bar open time, meal serve time, bar close time, rental pickup, out-of-venue time. Each of these factors affects the catering price.
